What we need
• A strong drive of the software engineering skills, experience and understanding needed to create high-quality code
• Experience with software development for the web, with at working directly in PHP code and preferably Magento 2 code.
• Good understanding of the modern PHP ecosystem and preferably Magento 2 architecture and ecosystem.
• Preferably experience with e-commerce architecture and familiarity with concepts like module development, service contracts, dependency injection, performance optimization, and API integration
• Preferably experience with other frameworks and tools like Symfony, Composer, Elasticsearch, Redis, and should be able to choose the best tools for the project at hand.
• Additional experience with other shop platforms is preferred
• GraphQL knowledge is preferred
• Additional front-end or full-stack experience is preferred
• Enterprise e-commerce project experience is preferred

• Ability to learn quickly and understand complex systems
What you’ll do
• Develop (& possibly Design) Magento solutions: The developer will be responsible for designing and developing Magento modules and customizations, and should be able to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
• Collaborate with front-end (and other specialty) developers: The Magento developer should understand the best way to construct the system as a whole, and be able to effectively deliver a working end-product
• Ensure code quality and maintainability, implement best practices to ensure that the codebase is stable and easy to maintain
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the Magento and PHP community and should be able to implement new features and improvements as needed
